Been struggling since last July with De Quervain syndrome ,
which essentially is an overuse syndrome…what can you do.
I was fortunate to be operated recently by my childhood friend ; a complete success in every level.
That is the reason behind my “reduced creative output”.
But,
I’ll be back !!
Thank you .
(Facebook thank you post) :
{ “Several decades ago we were two kids who had the blessing of sharing every kind of game – from football to the table games we had bought at the local festival … And years later, we met again in another “playground”!
The nurse at the operating room was impressed that I was so calm … I replied to her : “That’s how it is when you have your childhood friend next to you. Even if he was blindfolded, I would feel the same.” So a big thank you to Nikos Barbounakis my orthopedic surgeon, my childhood friend.
Not only for his completely successful intervention but also for his personal and professional ethics.
Ethics that derive from indifference to the cost of maintaining it.
Be always well Nicolas.
And as then, so now and always …” }
Looking forward to your return my friend, De Quervain Syndrome is something I’ve never heard of personally, it’s like a severe variant of Tendonitis I assume (obviously not to be confused with Nintendonitis… which I suffer from on a daily basis! 😉 ) 🙂

Thanks a lot.
It has a fancy name, hasn’t it?
Basically is the due payment of a loan received in the past…
Granted some times you escape it, but not in my case .
Btw, Judge Death was spot on.
And you know me; I love a dark ending 😉

Aww thanks again, I do enjoy writing those World’s Finest posts, though things always end up rather on the dark side for our poor hapless interviewer!!

Hey my friend, I raise a glass to both you and your friend Nicolas. I was worried when I first started reading but then happy when you wrote “A complete success in every level.” That’s quite a story. I look forward to your next creations, as always, a joy to see. Best 🙂
