Spira and Ford , being two artists from different countries yet sharing an incredible multi faceted connection, decided during the pandemic years to embark together on an adventure.

I Our first project in September 2020 was a marriage between a sculpture and an epic poem to mark the 2500th anniversary of the battles of Thermopylae and Salamis which took place in 480 BC during the Hellenic-Persian Wars:

II Our second project in June 2021 is entitled The Remains of She – “which takes place in a dystopian future England and Wales, and concerns the 10th century historical characters Æthelflæd Lady of the Mercians, her husband Lord Æthelred, and their daughter Ælfwynn – the hero of our tale. The Remains of She is a love story which has travelled the centuries to bring about a renewal of nature and humankind.”
