Dragon fire in Welsh ( I hope )!
Inspired by and honouring the, creative
& exciting friendship of the multi talented Ford P. Waight.
{The fifteenth installment of The Calling series.
“….But the sea followed after you, and her song is still with you…
And though you have forgotten your parentage…for ever will she call you unto her.” Khalil Gibran . }
The Calling XV : 12 x 12 x 22 cm.
Magnificent, and what an honour to be linked to this creation – thank you so, so much my friend.
The elements and details to be seen are fascinating; from the claw resting on the object of treasure, to the jewels and spiral parts, to the scales of the main dragon body, to the silver coiled dragon behind, to the amazing plinth it all stands upon, and the way the colour blends and harmonises – and then… the shell lit up like that with a fire perhaps soon to be breathed out. Just wow.
After soaking all this up, my mind carried to Welsh dragons, Smaug from The Hobbit, and the dragons from Game of Thrones and The Neverending Story…
You have created a fantasy masterpiece here!

Though to be honest, the length of my reply also leans on the bottle of smoked single malt I’m wasting for the past hour with my brother online: we take turns choosing a song and cheers!!
The times we live in.
Love you mate, you are truly incredible!

Thanks Bruce. Glad you like it.
The back and forth with Ford is so rewarding in so many levels, that it was the least I could do.
(Btw, please edit out of my latest comment at your blog your name. My mistake.)

I am currently playing the classic isometric RPG – Titan Quest, still lots of Animal Crossing and, of course Skyrim (I don’t think I’ll ever stop playing it until a sequel!) Also going to start a new game plus (x2) on Dark Souls on Saturday, another game I just adore and can’t stop playing. How about you my friend, what are you playing at the mo?

Artistic achievements S & DS, aren’t they?
Just started a ng+ also on Ghost of Tsushima.
And of course, after eight years, let’s hope December 10th is the release date of Cyberpunk 2077 😉

Absolutely agree, Skyrim and Dark Souls are just sublime, and just so re-playable especially considering their age now,. Haven’t play Ghosts as of yet, but it does look great, and I think it’s going to be awhile before I get to play Cyberpunk because of my huge backlog (that includes Witcher 3… so that’s at least another 200 hours!) 🙂

If you ever feel like experiencing a Samurai rpg at your own leisure , then GOT is your game.
As for the backlog…see it like this…you will buy it with all the dlc at a discount!
The Witcher 3 is a masterpiece. You won’t be disappointed my friend.
Stay safe and
Don’t take an arrow to the knee!! 🙂

Ha ha, luckily my knees are covered in plate armour… so all good! I have played a bit of Witcher already on my Switch (yep, they managed to fit the whole game and DLC on Nintendo’s fantastic hybrid, and it looks great!) I have enjoyed what I’ve played so far, just going to try and finish the half dozen other RPG’s I’m playing at the moment! 🙂
