Chapter 47 of Tao Te Ching

” Without stepping out the door,

you can know the world.

Without looking through the window,

you can see the way of heaven.

The further you go, the less you know..

Therefore, the sage knows without having to stir,

Identifies  without having to see.

Accomplishes without having to act.”

” Όλο τον κόσμο μπορείς να μάθεις

δίχως να βγεις από το σπίτι σου.

Όλη τη φύση μπορείς να γνωρίσεις

δίχως να κοιτάξεις από το παράθυρό σου.

Όσο μακρύτερα πας, τόσο λιγότερα μαθαίνεις.

Γι’αυτό, οι συνετοί μαθαίνουν 

χωρίς να χρειάζεται να δράσουν.

Ονομάζουν τα πράγματα

χωρίς να χρειάζεται να κοιτάξουν.

Παράγουν έργο χωρίς να παρεμβαίνουν. “
