LADY OF THE WOODS II : Inception

As I was forming this Lady of the Woods (see the first one here ) I reached a point where I felt I had to decide whether she was returning to the Wood or it was the moment of her genesis.

As it, more often than not, happens I went on a spiral of meditating upon that; life & death, sleeping & waking up…
And then I remembered the words from Alan Watts ( which you can hear at the Music? section under “The Real You” title) :

“… A lot of people are afraid that when they die , they gonna be locked up in a dark room forever & sort of undergo that.
But one of the most interesting things in the world, this is a yoga, this is a way of realization  :

try & imagine what it would be like to go to sleep & never wake up.
Think about that…children think about it. It’s one of the great wonders of life.

What it would be like to go to sleep & never wake up…

And if you think long enough about that, something will happen.
You will find out, among other things, that it will pose the next question to you.

What was it like to wake up after having never gone to sleep ?

That was when you were born…”

Υπήρξε μία στιγμή κατά τη διάρκεια της μορφοποίησης αυτής της Lady of the Woods ( μπορείτε να δείτε την πρώτη εδώ ), που προέκυψε το ερώτημα αν η λαίδη μας πέθαινε επιστρέφοντας στο ξύλο της ή αν ήταν η Γένεση της.
Διαλογιζόμενος με αυτή την αφορμή πάνω στη ζωή & το θάνατο θυμήθηκα τα λόγια του Alan Watts ( μπορείτε να τον ακούσετε στη Music? με τίτλο The Real You ) :
“… Πολλοί άνθρωποι φοβούνται ότι όταν πεθάνουν, θα μείνουν να υποφέρουν την ατελείωτη ανυπαρξία σε ένα σκοτεινό δωμάτιο.
Όμως ένα από τα πιο ενδιαφέροντα πράγματα στο κόσμο, που είναι κατ’ουσίαν μια οδός συνειδητοποίησης, μια γιόγκα, είναι το εξής :
φανταστείτε πως θα ήταν να πάτε για ύπνο & να μην ξυπνήσετε ποτέ…
Σκεφτείτε το…τα παιδιά το σκέφτονται! Είναι ένα από τα θαύματα της ζωής.

Πώς θα ήταν να κοιμηθείτε & να μην ξυπνήσετε ποτέ…

Κάτι θα συμβεί, αν το σκεφτείτε αρκετά.
Μεταξύ άλλων, θα δείτε ότι σας παρουσιάζει το επόμενο ερώτημα.

Πώς θα ήταν να ξυπνήσετε ενώ δεν έχετε πάει ποτέ για ύπνο ;
