Human beings have always been fascinated by the stars. From the cave drawings to the Hubble telescope, one common thread runs through human history: the yearning for the mysteries of the sky; the gaze to the stars.
Generations of (among others), Babylonian & Egyptian stargazers spent their lives in discovering the language of the stars ( astro :star , logos : the ruling principle of the cosmos).
Then, Galileo with his telescope ushers a new stargazing era that carries on with the recent deep space photographs with adaptive optics!
And the Quest continues…
Could all these efforts from so many civilizations be out of mere curiosity or they stem from something deeper that pulls us towards its centre of gravity to discover it ?
Or, remember it… After all, we are made of stardust…

Ο Γαλιλαίος με το τηλεσκόπιο του εγκαινίασε μία εποχή που συνεχίζεται και σήμερα με τις λήψεις εικόνων που φθάνουν τα όρια του γνωστού σύμπαντος.
Η Αναζήτηση συνεχίζεται…
Είναι άραγε όλη αυτή η προσπάθεια τόσων πολιτισμών προϊόν απλής περιέργειας ή υπάρχει κάτι βαθύτερο που μας κινεί να το ανακαλύψουμε;
Ή να το θυμηθούμε… Άλλωστε, είμαστε όλοι φτιαγμένοι από αστρόσκονη…
