Helios I

Horus is one of the most ancient gods of Egypt; he dates all the way back to the late Predynastic period.
At the Pyramid texts, 3100 BC , an Early Hymn to the Sun, Utterance 587 (1587a,b,1588a):” Greetings to thee, Atum. / Greetings to thee, Khepri. / Greetings to thee, eye of Horus, which he adorned with his two hands completely.”
The inscription reads : Ra Harmarchis, the great god, lord of heaven. The side motif depicts the primeval waters of Nun.

Η λατρεία του Ώρου χρονολογείται τουλάχιστον από τα τέλη της Προ – δυναστιακής περιόδου της Αιγύπτου, δηλ. περίπου από το 3100πΧ.
Η επιγραφή σημαίνει : Ήλιος Θεός μέγας δεσπότης ουρανού. Το πλαινό μοτίφ συμβολίζει τα αρχέγονα νερά της Νουν.

There is a dispute about the time the Hellenic Orphic Hymns were written; from 6 BC to 4 AD.
This one is for Apollo. It translates : Delie lord, your eye that illuminates on people, the all seeing eye.(ΔΗΛΙ΄ΑΝΑΞ ΠΑΝΔΕΡΚΕΣ ΕΧΩΝ ΦΑΕΣΙΜΒΡΟΤΟΝ ΟΜΜΑ.)
