Broken Seal

Ancient myths or maybe not …
Although western culture has associated dragons with daemonic entities, in Chinese they are far from that. The Dragon (L’ong) is a Supreme Being among all creatures. His breath is the essence of life, Sheng Chi.
The prime force of mother Nature provides soil from the Earth, air from the sea, warmth from the Sun and water from rain. Who else can fly to the heaven, live inside the depths of the sea and take the form of mountains as he coils up in the land?
So tread carefully on mountaintops for they are not always of mere stone…

Σε αντίθεση με την δυτική κουλτούρα όπου ο δράκος αντιπροσωπεύει δαιμονικές οντότητες, στην Κινεζική είναι το Υπέρτατο Όν. Η ανάσα του κρύβει την ουσία της ζωής, Σένγκ Τσί.
Όντας λοιπόν η κυρίαρχη δύναμη της μητέρας Φύσης, φέρνει νερό με τη βροχή, έδαφος από την Γή, αέρα από τη θάλασσα, ζέστη από τον Ήλιο. Ποιό άλλο όν πετά στα ουράνια, ζει στα βάθη του ωκεανού και ξεκουράζεται στη γη παίρνοντας τη μορφή βουνών;
Γι’αυτό προσέξτε τα βήματά σας την επόμενη φορά που θα βρεθείτε σε μια βουνοκορφή, γιατί δεν είναι πάντα καμωμένη από πέτρα μόνο…
